1950s Faux fur Astraka fingertip jacket
A gorgeous 1950s jacket in soft ’nylon furleen’, super supple and lustrous, in a warm beige tone lined with satin. A loose fit, with deep armholes and deep cuff to the wide sleeve, with open front and collar able to be worn ‘popped’. This is from one of the foremost names in imitation fur of the time, Astraka, however has lost it's additional label- I have included a snap of one of their sales brochures featuring a near identical piece, referred to as "finger tip jacket" (indicating no fastenings). Shown rather 'oversized' on a Small mannequin, but would fit up to a Large
Between shoulders 19
Chest of garment 50” unfitted
Mid shoulder to hem 25”
Sleeves from shoulder 23”
Excellent condition, two small patches of slight colour difference at one sleeve as pictured, not super noticeable.
