1990s Miss Sixty appliqué sweater - Extra small

A fabulous sweater from the 'Luxury' range of 1990s 'Miss Sixty' label, fast becoming very collectible, in predominantly beige acrylic jersey. Featuring ribbed hem and deep roll neck in green/brown and orange/beige stripe respectively, it slips over the head with no fastenings, and includes the branded fabric tag to hip. The front is fabulously detailed with slightly raised toadstools/mushrooms in leatherette and embroidery, with 'grass' growing up around the waist from hem, and irregular polka dot 'bubbles' in the knit. Such a great design, in happy subject matter and composition of the appliqué. Known for their luxury fashion-forward denim, this range also included mini skirt and jeans featuring the same appliqués!

Good condition from a great quality label, there is minor overall surface use as pictured, and some loss of the lustrous surface of the leatherette to the stipes (stem). Cap of the smaller toadstool has also lost the original rich burgundy surface, leaving a pleasing dusky-pink shade which actually almost looks intentional. Overall nothing very noticeable when worn
