1980s Musical instrument novelty print skirt set - Extra x small
A fabulously fun 1980s skirt set from 'Wash House Modes', a vibrant young British line in production circa late 70s-mid 90s, last image from the excellent 'Just Seventeen' magazine found at www.Babiafi.co.uk. In a substantial off-white satinized fabric, it is boldly printed with black linnear illustrations in scratchy Quentin Blake style, of musical instruments against blocks of pale yellow, blue, and red.
The jacket is an open-fronted bolero, lined in cotton, and the skirt is wonderfully full and pleated to a 3" deep waistband. Two large pockets finish the piece, and wide beltloops allow for a jazzy belt of your choosing.
Chest of garment 35"
14" mid shoulder to hem
Waist at bottom of waistband 24"
top of waistband just under 24" so bear this in mind with fitting
