1970s Mesh snake belt/necklace

Fabulously blingy 1970s goldtone snake belt (or necklace of sorts if you like!) fashioned from articulated mesh ‘scales’. The head is finished with faceted ‘diamond’ and conceals a clip behind to hold the opposite end as desired. I love the little fangs/forked tongue peeking out! Unstamped, but a copy of the iconic Whiting & Davis pieces.

Good condition, minor loss to gold colouring in parts but nothing noticeable when worn. A few areas of tubular body are v slightly indented from the clip, however this can be manipulated out with a little pressure if you don’t want to continue fastening at those points.
