1970s Jean Varon crepe dress - Extra small

A chic early 1970s dress from the highly collectible ‘Jean Varon’ label of boutique UK designer John Bates, in fine wool crepe. Colour is a dark grey-brown, will read as black of an evening but daylight shows it as off-black. Gored in flaring panels to skim the figure and flute a little at hem, it is detailed with eyecatching rouleaux loops to back, and wide collar, which continues down the front to form button holes for the covered buttons. This is echoed at the long sleeve fastenings, all original buttons present! Unlined
