The Annie Gough Florence dress in wool crepe
A stunning 1970s dress in high quality cream wool crepe, lined for comfort, from designer Annie Gough at Gemini. Sleeves are hugely voluminous 'bishop' style, with covered button cuffs, and long bodice is designed to be worn slightly blouson, with long bow tie belt to finish. The bodice, sleeve, and hem are detailed with tucked pleats, which makes the piece a fantastically weighty enjoyable garment to wear
16" between shoulders
Chest of garment 40"
Waist 32", fine drawn in a few inches
Hip 44"
17" mid shoulder to hem
Skirt 29.5"
Sleeve 24"
Presents well, there are a few small pale marks to the bodice and skirt as pictured, the odd darker dot to the belt which is negligible. There are a handful of well done darns- two to a skirt pleat, one at sleeve, one to back bodice, two to skirt- which are flat and largely lost when worn rather than being lumpy and unsightly. Still a highly collectible and desirable piece!
