1960s Eurpoean folk embroidered blouse - Medium
Tax included.
A summer wardrobe staple that I sourced on a recent trip to Amsterdam, a traditional folk style blouse in lightweight airy white cheesecloth. Circa 1960s I am estimating? Detailed with hand stitched embroidery in blue to chest and back, it is unfitted, with short sleeve able to be drawn in at the hems with drawstring tassels as desired. The neckline is again beautifully smocked by hand, tying with tassels. Lovely worn contemporary style with jeans and sneakers, or with waisted garment to allow the top to gather for ‘blouson’ fit.
44” garment chest, meant to be worn loose
Around hem 48”
Mid shoulder to hem 22
Very good condition, a small mend to secure snag hole at front, not seen if worn tucked in.
