1950s Mexican printed cotton dress - Small

A gorgeous 1950s Mexican dress in natural cotton, printed with dancers in brilliantly bright feather headdresses- the pink/green/yellow colours are almost neon! The side zip was too short to fit over my rigid mannequin's shoulders so I have had to pin it against the front to show fit. With loosely fitted button-fastening bodice and cap sleeve, the full skirt features gentle wide pleating, and fastens with side metal zip. Unlined, sadly no label remains

Presents excellently, two buttons at bodice are replacements, there is a v short hand stitched dart to mend fraying at one sleeve opening as pictured. V small pull to fabric at one underarm and mildest patch of tonal change to other. Neck facing has mild discolouration but piece is clean! Nothing noticeable when worn
