1950s Gerald Fisher skirt suit - Extra x small

A chic early 1950s suit from ’Gerald Fisher’ label (sweet graphics!), in dark grey fine wool.
Skirt is straight and unlined, with back vent and side metal zip to fasten

Jacket is fitted, with very nipped waist, and double breasted button fastening. Collar is trimmed with black velvet, and two shallow breast pockets also feature shaped velvet details (additional pockets are concealed nicely in the seaming). Lined in black crepe.

Excellent condition, in certain lights the skirt has an area towards front hem of paler smattering BUT the photo to illustrate this has direct flash (as you can see from my white hand!) which makes it seem far stronger than it is. Not visible when looking down on the garment for example
