1950s 60s Ruched bodice party dress - Extra small
A supremely pretty early 1960s party dress in baby pink nylon chiffon, effervescent in it's layers with or without petticoat. The bodice is heavily ruched, with flattering wide neckline finished with prong set pearlised studs, and long shoulder swags able to be styled several ways. With full skirt and back metal zip fastening.
Chest of garment pulls out to 34" tight, ideally under
Waist 26" tight
28" around slightly dropped 'waistline', which is 2" below waist
44.5" mid shoulder to hem
Presents well, there is gradual fade at one shoulder as pictured and a little to back skirt, but given light nature of the fabric this is not immediately apparent. A few small picks to surface as is common with this fabric, and I spotted a small hole to *lining* which is covered by two layers of outer fabric when worn so not seen. The skirt lining has dropped a little on the bias but again this is not terribly noticeable.
