1950s 60s Digby Morton rose print velvet pleated skirt - Small
A divine skirt circa 1960 from British couturier Digby Morton's ready-to-wear label Reldan. Bringing the couture feel to ready made garments! In lovely quality black velvet, the print is an unusual mix of flat colour and almost photographic style roses in pale pink, lilac, lipstick red, and magenta, plus greyscale chrysanthemums. With double inverted pleats to the front and back, a pocket (!!), and side metal zip/popstud fastening.
27" long not including waistband
Presents very well, small yellowy mark as indicated, and some very faint gradual discolourations which my dry cleaner lessened immensely so don't affect the piece much at all. Inside the waistband has a repaired pull tear from previous fastening which isn't seen when worn.
