1940s Pistachio spot cotton Toquette house robe - Small Medium
A charming late 1940s early 1950s robe/housecoat, in pistachio green cotton printed with stripes of white spot. With elbow length cuffed sleeve, and gathered pockets, the piece fastens with interior waist tie, and long tie belt.
15" between shoulder seams
Chest of garment 38", can be tied a little smaller or worn by slightly larger
Waist 28", as above
Mid shoulder to waist 15.5"
Presents well, we repaired a little heel snag as pictured which is totally lost when worn. There is some gradual colour change in places, mainly across the skirt, mainly to the hem, to more of an olive shade, and two paler dribble marks to the lower skirt, one of which falls behind the front wrap so isn't seen when worn.
