A glorious late 1940s- early 1950s housedress for luxurious summer lounging, or even worn as a maxi dress by today’s standards. With delightful tri-tone pink roses and grey brushstroke print against white background, foliage is picked out in teal green. Fitted in the waist with full length full skirt, the bodice features tight gathers beneath the bust, to peaked shaped flat midrif. Rounded collar has lovely crossover detailing at nape of neck, and 3/4 length sleeves feature lovely pointed cuff. A long matching belt ties as desired in the waist, and the piece fastens with long metal zip.

Excellent condition, has been freshly soaked and laundered with no immediate signs of wear. Slightly more creamy hue to one side of skirt, pictured comparison to whitest area, barely noticeable when worn, and mildly to underarm also.
