1930s Silk printed day dress - Extra small

A divine late 1930s early 40s dress in pure silk, printed with stylised florals in dove grey against blue and reds. With fitted bodice able to be belted in as desired, and gently flared skirt, the long sleeves are pleated at shoulder for slight ‘puff’ and gathered to flat cuff, which fasten with pop studs. Front bodice fastens with pop studs, concealed behind covered buttons, and the piece is finished with small pointed collar. Slight shoulder padding, and side popstud opening, unlined.

Excellent condition with no structural points to note. One or two fabric flaws to the print as indicated, negligible, and very very slight muting to colour at underarm although camera couldn’t even pick this up.
