1930s Peacock celluloid frame crochet handbag

A stylish 1930s handbag hand crocheted in ‘bubble’ design black rayon, with fabulous clear moulded celluloid rigid handle, depicting peacocks and berries. Fastening with hinged catch, it is lined in black silk and just big enough for modern smartphones.
Approx 8.5” at widest, x 8” high including handle
Excellent condition, there is a small area of slight yellowing at handle where it meets the body, which looks to be transfer from something, I was afraid it was adhesive from historic mend but I’ve held it up to the light and can’t make out any hairline cracks etc. Very sturdy still
