A piece for our couture collectors; from 'Atrima', a youth diffusion line of the wholesale couture label Rima London. In what feels like silk jersey in wonderful rich shade of regal teal blue-green, it features heavily pleated bodice all draped and stitched beautifully by hand, with flattering wide neckline and cap sleeve. Skirt is pleated, unlined, and the piece fastens with side metal zip cleverly concealed from waist down within a pleat. Bodice is structured, with taffeta lining and inner petersham waistband to hold form, whereas skirt is unlined and moves gracefully without!

Chest 33” pulling out to 34 tight

Waist 25”

16” mid shoulder to waist

Skirt 29”

Presents excellently with some small notes; the zip has slipped a tooth to it’s base and been shortened accordingly by stitching over above this area to prevent the pulley from slipping off- obviously concealed when worn and does the job. A couple of slightly darker spots to skirt fabric as pictured near the side fastening, and perhaps the odd very light blemish in the fabric of the skirt, which is masked by the pleating. Shoulders/upper bodice have a little gentle mottling with deeper shade of tonal change which I have tried to photograph, not at all obvious unless under scrutiny. Tiny pull in the fabric at the top of skirt side opening which is concealed in the overlap
