A fabulous early piece from iconic “The London Mob” label, operating out of Carnaby St from 1968 to mid ‘80s, and founded by the same mind behind the famous ’Lady Jane’ boutique. In slinky pile magenta velvet printed with outlined squares and daisies in black and teal blue, and finished with plain black cotton velvet cuffs and front edging. Fastening at the neck alone with hook/eyes, it is open below, and in A-line cut to front with empire line seam to back. 3/4 length sleeve is very slightly bell-shaped, and the piece is unlined.

13.5” between shoulder seams

Chest of garment roughly edge to edge 34”

Hip 40”

Mid shoulder to hem 27”

Sleeve length from shoulder 20.5”

Excellent structural condition, tiny scrub to velvet at neckline and a patch of the velvet at cuff with paler mark and slightly rough texture, not very noticeable when worn. The piece has however been freshly dry cleaned, and you can also fold the cuffs back a little to conceal this!
