Certainly a rarity to find one of her beautiful pieces here in the UK, a 1950s Pauline Lake (at the Royal Hawaiian) label dress in the most gorgeous cotton sateen, printed with stylised roses in colourway of chartreuse, olive green, and spicy oranges. With fitted boned bodice lined in cotton sateen, lovely bust shaping to front, and straight skirt detailed with pleating to hip. Back metal zip fastening

Absolutely excellent condition, clearly saved for best if worn at all. The hem had been taken up but I have all but managed to remove the ghost stitch dots left behind.
