1961 Garden print Sportaville skirt - Small

A fabulous example of Mid Century novelty print from collectible British label Sportaville, in white light sailcloth cotton printed with large florals in yellow and orange, and illustrative gardening motifs including plant pots, tools, and wheelbarrows. Pleated for fulness, with back metal zip, and hook/eyes at the waistband which have been secured with our signature embroidery stitches as pictured. The fabulous Vintage.fashion.catalogues on instagram found an original Littlewoods Catalogue listing for this print from 1961, but I know from other original source material that that Sportaville used this fabric and style of printing from mid-late 50s also.

Excellent condition, we professionally reversed some alterations so it is in near perfect condition. A couple of faint very small faint marks towards hem as pictured which are lost when worn
