1960s Gold & pink lurex 2 piece evening set - Medium

An eye-catching late 1960s party two piece set in impactful, yet lightweight, gold lurex and baby pink brocade weave of stylised daisy florals. Top is a loose fit, with wide neck, and bow to finish side split at front. Skirt is A line and is finished on the inside waist with petersham tape to sit flush against the body, ie no waistband. Both articles fasten with metal zips, and are lined in one with the garment in nice quality light crepe.

Presents excellently, zip tape of top has some discolouration and I spotted dribbles to lining when pressing- there is a slight darker mark to outer side here but it is very hard to spot if you didn’t know! A little fuzzing to fabric surface in places but nothing major at all!
