1940s Orange stripe cotton boned waistband skirt - Small

An absolutely stunning and rare-as 1940s summer skirt, in spicy orange cotton with vertical stripe, tightly gathered for lots of lovely fulness! The waistband is a whopping 4" deep and boned inside for structure. We entirely restored this piece from a bit of a mess, even applying couture handworked techniques to the hook/eye waist fastening, so it's a very special piece!

Waist a comfortable 27", the top of the waistband is 28" tight so do make sure this works with your body shape (check 4" up from your natural waist also!). There is another inch of waistband should you need to add another loop to increase any
