1970s Jean Varon printed dress - Extra X small

A playful early-mid 1970s dress from the fabulous 'Jean Varon' label of prolific designer John Bates, in a lightweight cotton which is slightly sheer. Printed with spots in white against bright red, with contrast pointed collar and cuffs in pinstripe, it fastens with back metal zip and features decorational heart shaped buttons to chest. The sleeves are indicative of the label, a wide cut gathered at shoulder and cuff for fabulous ballooning finish. Unlined, so be aware it isn't opaque! It is also a fairly short body length so wear may be intended for an inch or so above natural waistline, so please check measurements carefully;
