A playful and cosy early 1960s capelet, in bubblegum pink soft fluffy mohair bearing the interesting Scottish label of "Highland Home Industries, under Royal patronage". HHI was established in 1889 to showcase the work of traditional craftspeople in the Scottish Highlands and surrounding Isles. With asymmetric opening fastening with popstuds hidden behind covered buttons, it is a fairly slim fit with neckline sitting just above shoulder for funnel esque finish. Unlined, with inner neck finished with soft petersham.
