1950s Melbray sundress - Extra small Small

A gorgeous 1950s ‘Melbray’ label sundress in a lovely quality cotton, printed with sketchy stripes of indigo blues. With light gathering beneath the bust to a flat midrif, and full gathered skirt, it fastens to the side with metal zip.

Excellent condition, it has two strips of boning in the back bodice which feel to have broken inside their channels, BUT are now laid over each other so aren’t in two pieces jiggling around. Just reads as shorter boning and obviously not noticeable when worn. Tiny bit of surface colour loss to zip, and frayed label
