1950s Embroidered cotton dress - Small Medium

A chic late 1950s day dress in pastel mint green crisp cotton, Rembrandt label, with single large front button fastening to bodice and skirt, and hook at the waistline. Collared, with loose 3/4 length sleeve pleated to a strapped cuff. Bodice is fairly loose and gathered to the waist, finished with pleats of handembroidered fagotting stitch. The skirt features deep double pleating for fulness, and there are hand corded belt loops in the waist for your own belt. Find the pictured variation of this design instore!

Excellent condition, v small faint mark to back waist as just seen in the image of sleeve cuff. Hem has been taken up to present length. Skirt has no fastenings below the button, you may want to add a hook/eye or popstud if needed
