A classic 1950s box handbag from one of the best names in such things, ‘Dorset Rex Fifth Avenue’. With body in basket-style weave of textured brass, and tortoiseshell effect lucite lid and base, which features little screw feet. Fastening with secure two-part catch, and lined in black satin.
