1940s John Dean Tailor overcoat - Large

Wonderful 1940s overcoat from the tailor ‘John Dean’, in deep brown wool with herringbone style textured surface. A straight cut, with structured shoulders and double breasted button fastening, with additional button under the collar to change neckline (or cover up a terribly era-inauthentic American Werewolf in London tshirt..!). With pockets to front and vent to back, it’s a heavy duty piece and incredibly warm.

Near perfect condition, with just one or two shallow grazes to pile like that pictured (another at the collar) which are lost when worn. Lining has a little handstitching to underarm, obviously not seen on.
