1940s Crocheted black dress - Medium Large

A chic 1940s dress in black wool, handcrocheted with openwork, and lined in body and skirt (shorter in the skirt than outer hem to show a little leg!). With side metal zip fastening, and looped metal buttons at the slit neck, there are ‘holes’ in the knit around waist level which you could thread velvet ribbon through if desired I’m sure!

Chest 36” relaxed to 40”
Waist 28 relaxed to 34”
Mid shoulder to hem 43”
Very good condition, minor surface use and zip teeth have lost some of their black coating
