1940s Crepe smart day dress - Extra small

Gorgeous 1940s smart day dress in the most warming autumnal shade of russet/rust brown, in textured rayon crepe. With semi fitted bodice and 3/4 length sleeves cut in one with the body, it fastens to chest with dimpled buttons, and hook/eye to the built up neckline. Skirt is a hip skimming cut, detailed with stitched pleats, which feature to the chest and back also.

Waist 28” tight, not meant to be too fitted however

Presents excellently, a couple of v small surface scrubs to back hem as pictured and odd tiny one dotted around to skirt. V small well done darn to armpit fabric as pictured. Has been hand finished around the buttonholes
