1940s Appliqué effect rose print skirt - Small

A gorgeous 1940s skirt in black rayon, printed with large red and pink roses which appear almost as appliqués, and mock lace in white. Nicely full with lots of movement when worn, and side metal zip/button fastening. Unlined
Waist of garment 28” at present, button has been moved however so originally 27
26” long not including waistband
Excellent condition, it appears a waist extension has been put on as pictured- or perhaps they didn’t have enough plain fabric to finish the waist?- but this is sturdily done. Covered if worn with a belt! Faint area of paler finish to the fabric which I’ve lightened the pic to show, not noticeable on
