1930s Satin pointed collar blouson blouse - Medium Large
A beautiful early 1930s blouse in creamy-ivory satin, with elasticated hem causing the piece to billow blouson in the waist. With wonderful pointed collar, and clear buttons moulded with concentric circles Art Deco style, it features vertical pin tucks to front and turn back cuffs (look fine worn down also!)
16” between shoulder seams
Chest of garment 48”, however meant to be worn fairly loose here, I’d guess desired fit around a 36 chest? (but didn’t look too ‘off’ on the mannequin’s 33” and could go bigger also!)
Mid shoulder to hem 19”
Sleeve 23” from shoulder to hem
Presents very well with no structural concerns, freshly laundered and elastic still v stretchy! A small darker mark area to chest as pictured, and kind of paler area to opposite side which is only noticeable in certain lights. Paler spotted area to back of one sleeve which again seems to be more pronounced from different angles. Looking inside one underarm there is some colour change however not seen from outer!
