1930s 'Tapestry' celluloid frame handbag

A particularly special 1930s handbag, with body in biscuit-coloured 'tapestry' wool with charming pattern of red and yellow roses to each side. Lined in cotton, it features beautiful celluloid frame, moulded into ornate openwork design. The fastening is a push-release button, and handle classic celluloid chain.

Excellent condition, lining has some surface greying as pictured but nothing noticeable when fastened. One or two tiny areas of the wool surface has lost it's pile, negligible. Mild tonal changes to the upper edge of the frame, has been carefully cleaned however.
