A quirky 1970s cardigan in grey jersey, with pattern in the knit of what I’m calling “Off-Brand Conglomerate Mouse” to avoid copyright infringement, adorably stomping with a little buddy (and curiously constructed with the mice upsidedown, but the right way up for the wearer as they look downwards!). The piece feels very much like a Soviet take on the cartoon icon in question. The piece is unfitted, but draws in as desired at the waist with drawstring ties, and buttons with little red domes resembling ladybirds/ladybugs. High mandarin style neckline is trimmed with red cotton binding, as are the fold-back cuffs (which can also be worn down for a little added length. Unlined, nicely homemade, fabric composition feels like a good quality manmade fibre.
