1930s Marbled barleysugar rope carved Bakelite bangle pair

From my own collection of early plastic jewellery (follow our instagram @veramodevintage for more!), comes a pair of 1930s bakelite bangles in attractive barleysugar shade, translucent, with marbling in paler yellow and brown. Carved with rope design, they are an interesting mix of surface polishing and carved areas left matte

Excellent condition, one has a tiny ding to inner edge, not seen at all unless under scrutiny
