A chic late 1950s cocktail dress in vibrant purple lightweight silk, printed with black leaves which overall resembles leopard print from a distance! A classic fitted cut, with elbow length sleeve and back metal zip fastening. The bodice and skirt feature pleating to the side seam to create asymmetric detail, from which the skirt swathes into a decorative layer to appear as though a sarong-style wrap.

Excellent condition and made to a very high standard clearly by a dressmaking professional. Inner underarm has a little clouding as pictured, not seen from outer side. V faint gradual discolouration at front chest, nothing noticeable at all when worn.
