1940s Zigzag rayon dress - Extra x small

A gorgeous 1940s day dress in gently crepey cool rayon, printed with electrified zig zag stripe in black and yellow against dark cream. With pointed revere collar, and cuffed 3/4 length sleeve cut in one with the body, which is finished with a vertical row of decorational covered buttons. Skirt is pleated to front, plain to back, and fastens with side metal zip. Unlined, zip is quite short so you will need wiggle room on these measurements, wouldn't fit on the mannequin!

Chest of garment is 34” including a little of the underarm curve, so needs to be 32” or under Waist of garment is just over 24”

Skirt length just over 28”

Excellent structural condition, bit of tonal darkening to inside neck which isn’t seen from outer, and the piece has been freshly laundered. Linear mark to side of skirt and a couple of faint spots as pictured.
