1940s Spotty voile day dress - Small

A chic 1940s day dress in sheer black voile, printed with white spot. Semi fitted bodice fastens with rhinestone-centred buttons, and skirt is gathered for nice fulness. Sleeves also feature little gathers, to a bound edge. Side metal zip to fasten

Presents very well, nothing immediately apparent; top button is a nice carved replacement, and hem has been let down leaving little dash drags which wouldn’t be noticeable when worn unless perhaps paired with a pale slip under. One or two small snag holes to skirt like that pictured, small scrub hole towards zip which is backed with seam allowance so not noticeable on. Some stitches to secure an area at neckline where the hook fastening there has obviously pierced the fabric instead of it’s eye, but this is covered when fastened. Slightly pulled seam at one armhole.
