1940s Floral rayon day dress - Extra Large

Please note this print was copied by the repro brand Rock n Romance, this however is original! 1940s summer dress in sweet pink rayon, printed with posies of blue Forgetmenots, and fastening with pearlised glass buttons. With short cuffed sleeves cut in one with the body, and nicely full hip-skimming skirt, it features revere collar and small self-covered pads in the shoulder. Home made with unfinished seams inside.

Presents well, there is evidence of past alterations, which have left little ghost stitch dots and small pulls etc. One has been backed with a reverse patch at back, and fabric behind a few buttons have similarly been reinforced, obviously not seen at all when worn. Has been shortened at some point.
