1940s 50s Wildflower print cotton full skirt day dress - Small

A supremely pretty late 1940s early 50s Brilkie label summer dress, in pale cocoa and white cotton printed with wildflowers and wheat. Built up collar, with original Galalith button front and full skirt featuring pleating and gathers. Original belt also, which has some discolouration as seen. Shown with petticoat not included
Chest of garment 38 however not meant to be fitted here, prob best suit around a 36
Waist of garment 26", hook/eye could be moved to fit 27
16" mid shoulder to waist, skirt just under 26" with 2" hem
Excellent condition, there are two teeny tears at each end of middle buttonhole- this has been reinforced by bonding inbetween the outer and facing fabrics to strengthen that area. Covered with button when worn!
