1970s Faux fur & wool jacket - Medium
A glamorous 1970s jacket/short coat from British ‘Astraka’ label, a company on the go since the 1890s manufacturing the most realistic simulated furs. Their later label slogan “beauty without cruelty” is particularly lovely! Semi fitted but with tie belt to draw in the waist as desired, it is constructed in alternating panels of faux fur, and khaki/cream coloured tweedy wool. Fastening with large covered wool buttons, the collar is SO chic and spectacular, and pockets finish the front.
15.5” between shoulder seams
38” garment chest max
35” waist
44” hip
28” mid shoulder to hem
23” sleeve length from shoulder
Presents excellently, a few little well-done flat darns to the shaped belt as pictured however nothing noticeable when worn! Lining has some thinning to the seat area, and some pulled fibres around armholes but these obviously aren’t seen when worn.
