An incredibly cosy and chic early 1960s short coat from Wetherall, a great quality label in outerwear, in a dense ivory coloured boucle. A loose fit, but with genius removable half bet to back to draw it in if desired, which fastens by means of buttons concealed in slits to the side seam- I’ve never come across this before in my many years of coat sourcing! Fastening with large buttons, it features raglan sleeve able to be turned back into deep cuffs, pockets, and lovely patterned red lining
46” garment chest, however meant to be worn loose
48” around hem
26” mid shoulder to hem
16” sleeve length from underarm
In excellent structural condition, the only thing to note is some surface fluff/lint transfer from jostling against other garments as pictured, most notably to just inside the collar and cuffs. This is able to be picked off with a little attention but I am currently recovering from a back injury and can’t do it myself- price has been reduced to reflect this!
