1940s Embroidered openwork crepe blouse - Small

A chic little 1940s blouse from 'Huppert The Knitwear House, of Bond St', in semi sheer cream crepey rayon. Semi fitted, with short cuffed sleeve, and carved mother of pearl button fastening to waist level, indicating it is meant to be worn tucked into waisted garment. The chest and small pointed collar is fabulously detailed with textured motifs and openwork embroidery, striped between vertical pintucks.
