1930s White silk georgette fitted blouse - Extra small Small

A chic 1930s blouse in white sheer silk georgette, fitted, with wonderful shaped collar. Front and back yokes have delicate handstitches to smock the fabric a little there, and the piece fastens with faux mother of pearl buttons.

Just under 14" between shoulder seams

Chest 34" comfortably, pulls out to 38 due to the crinkle of the fabric however not intended to be tight

5 4/8" around wrist approx, button could be moved about 1/2"

Excellent condition, freshly hand washed, there remains a discolouration to the inside facing of the front opening, not seen when worn. The inner construction is french seams, which tucks the raw edges of the fabric in on itself- in places at the side seams a few stragly ends of these edges hare just visible although this is not wear.
