1930s 1940s Mustard rayon embroidered collar blouse - Small

A stunning and unusual late 1930s early 1940s rayon blouse, in a warm honey mustard shade of yellow. Loosely fitted, with carved real mother of pearl button fastening, and vertical pintuck detail to front. The exquisitely detailed pointed collar and cuffs feature intricate handembroidered 'fagoting', and the neck is finished with a little bow.

This is a deadstock piece however it has picked up some small darker marks from storage where pictured, and has been gently handwashed.
