A fantastic 1940s cotton dress, likely originally ‘chore’ wear but absolutely wearable by today’s standards as a lovely light summer frock! In vertical stripe of white and mink colour, with super fun unusual print of black chicken wire and orange feathers! With V neckline, and pockets trimmed with black cotton binding, the waist is elasticated with shirring, forming gathered skirt below.

Chest pulls out to 38” tight, however meant to be relaxed here so I would estimate around a 34, maybe 36

Waist 22-30”

Hip 50

Mid shoulder to mid waist 15”

Skirt 27.5”

Presents excellently, v small scrub to neckline, missing one row of shirring to back however this doesn’t affect wear and isn’t very noticeable on. Slight fade to the black of pocket binding
