1970s Blue boucle balloon sleeve day dress - Medium Large

The perfect late 1970s knit day dress, in bold cerulean blue boucle-surfaced jersey (the bobble texture is intentional, not wear!). With fabulous openwork to sleeve and skirt, the sleeves are wide and gathered to a flat ribbed cuff for balloon effect. Long in the bodice indicating it’s wear as ‘blouson’, ie cinching the waist with the tie belt provided and causing the bodice to relax over the top slightly. The skirt is sheer in parts but has a semi sheer knit underskirt. Slips over the head, with popstud fastening to back of raised neckline.

Chest of garment 36" with 4" max give

Waist 30" with 4" stretch

17" mid shoulder to waist

25" skirt length

Sleeve length 18" from underarm

Excellent condition, very slightest discolouration at raised neck which the camera couldn’t pick up.
