1960s Novelty print cotton French swimsuit - Medium Large

An eyecatching early 1960s swimsuit, in white cotton with novelty print of orange and green vases of flowers. Made by 'Creations Pascale' of the French Riviera, it sold through the Lillywhites sports department store, which has stood on it's Picadilly Circus site since 1925. With structured cups and open low back fastening with metal zip, the sides have strips of interior elastic in place of traditional shirring.

Excellent condition, we restored the elastic sides so ready to hit the beach for many more summers to come. Freshly laundered, the straps have a little touch of colour change but nothing noticeable on.
