A sweet 1950s swim set / bathing suit in textured white cotton, printed with novelty array of pottery/ceramics in greens and burgundy. Comprised of long top and separate briefs, which are elasticated around waist and leg. Top is boned in the bust, with sweetheart neckline and removable halter strap, and entirely shirred with rows of elastic to the back. The front features green piping detail, which outlines the POCKETS(!), and a central vent opening to show a little of the briefs beneath. ‘Morley’ label.
