1940s Striped seersucker puffed sleeve day dress - Extra small
Tax included.
A sweet summery 1940s dress in mid blue seersucker cotton with stripes of green, red, white, and yellow. With full puff sleeves and pleated skirt, the bodice fastens with glossy red galalith buttons, and there is a popstud fly to the skirt. Bodice and skirt hem are detailed with ricrac braid, with nice shaping picked out to the back.
13.5” between shoulder seams
Chest of garment 34”
Waist 25
15”mid shoulder to waist
24.5” skirt
Great condition, a small hole to the back of the skirt has been patched to reverse as pictured, and there’s a little wear around the hand bound buttonholes, covered by the buttons when worn and secured with professional fabric glue to prevent further fraying- also not seen, neatly done. A little fade to the ricrac but overall nothing noticeable when worn!
