1940s Red stripe rayon day dress - Small

A great 1940s rayon day dress striped in white and berry red, with covered button fastening bodice, side popstud opening. Roll style collar, pleated skirt with matching belt & celluloid buckle

15” mid shoulder to waist, skirt 26”
Presents very well, slight discolouration to shoulder but the piece has been freshly hand washed. Looks like there have been front darts which were let out leaving tiny ghost stitch snags, end of the belt is a tiny bit frayed. Tiny pull under one arm and short slit in the skirt fabric as pictured which is lost when worn.
